SABA-SC Seventeenth Annual Public Interest Dinner & Installation finally took place on May 5, 2022 – after a two-year delay because of the Covid-19 pandemic. It was amazing to see everyone, enjoy great food together, and be inspired by the spirit of mentorship in the room. SABA-SC presented the following awards that night:
- Judicial Appreciation Award to the Honorable Neetu S. Badhan-Smith
- Lifetime Achievement Award to Anjan Choudhury
- Trailblazer Award to the Honorable Sergio C. Tapia II
- Public Interest Award to Seema Ahmad
The Honorable Vibhav Mittal delivered the Keynote address, and Judge Kalra swore in the new Board. Thanks to our generous sponsors, we raised over $70,000 for SABA’s Public Interest Foundation, which has made over $250,000 in grants. It was a heartwarming night, and we hope to see you at next year’s banquet!
