Established in 2003, the Public Interest Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit affiliate of SABA-SC.
The Foundation organizes and promotes public interest activities for the South Asian community. The Foundation also provides annual grants to organizations that serve South Asian communities.
In addition, the Foundation awards public interest fellowships to South Asian law students committed to public interest work, enabling law students to work for local public interest organizations during the summer. These fellowships have enabled law students to serve underprivileged individuals and communities and promote awareness of issues impacting the South Asian community.
Each year, the Foundation hosts a Public Interest and Installation Dinner to celebrate public interest and honor members of our community for their achievements and commitment to public service. More information about our Annual Dinner.
