Mona Shah, SABA-SC’s president during its 2009-2010 term, was recently named SABA North America’s new Executive Director. She was instrumental in planning the 2011 SABA North America Conference in Los Angeles, and the 2017 Annual Conference in Washington, D.C. She is also actively involved in a wide range of other non-profit organizations, including being an Emeritus board member of the Asian Pacific Community Fund, and an active board member of Career Sparks. Separate from her dedicated minority bar association and non-profit work, Mona has been a successful attorney for over 20 years, representing clients in civil legal disputes of all kinds, and maintaining an active mediation practice. She is currently with the Los Angeles office of Sacro & Walker LLP and is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California (USC) Gould School of Law where she teaches legal ethics and Academic & Professional Skills for U.S. Law Students. She received her BA in Political Science from UC Irvine and her JD from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
